This is an UNPAINTED figurine of William Jefferson Clinton made to resemble the classic collectible Marx Toy Company President figures of the 1950s and 60s. It is 60mm tall (about 2 3/4 inches), weighs about an ounce, and is cast from a resin plastic.
As collectors know, unpainted Marx President figure sets sell everyday on eBay, with the most recent president made by Marx being Dwight Eisenhower. Infrequently, unpainted figures of John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, and Richard Nixon appear but Marx went out of business when Nixon was president and never issued a figurine of Clinton. This figurine is similar in size and design to the Marx figurines with "CLINTON" in raised letters on the front of the base and "42nd, 1993-2001" on the back. Unlike the Marx Presidents (of which tens of thousands were made), this figure is individually and sequentially numbered.
