This is a hand cast, hand painted figurine of the first African-American justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall, made to match the classic collectible Marx Toy Company figures of the 1950s and 60s. It is 60mm tall (about 2 3/4 inches), weighs about an ounce, is cast from a resin plastic, and is painted with enamel paint. It has the last name of the Justice on the front of the base in raised letters. One photo shows the figurine next to a playing card-size portrait of the justice (also included). Another shows it with an original Marx figurine of the president who appointed the justice. Each figurine is individually and sequentially numbered.
Elsewhere in this store you'll find the 17 Chief Justices of the United States, the associate justices currently serving on the Court, and other recent and historically significant justices. In addition, there are figurines of the seven presidents that Marx never made, every major party presidential nominee since 1944, and a series of Famous American figurines.
