This is a plastic figurine of Gerald Rudolph Ford, made to look like the 60 millimeter Marx Presidents figures of the 1950s and '60s.
The figurine is about 2 3/4 inches tall, machine cast in resin plastic, and painted with an enamel gloss. Like the Marx figurines, the name "FORD" appears on the front of the base in raised letters and the back says "38th, 1974-77." Unlike the Marx Presidents, of which tens of thousands were made, each figurine is individually hand numbered on the underside of the base.
Also available are the six other presidents that Marx never made: Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama. They are available in painted and unpainted versions.
